First of all I must say that I am a big fan of ‘MASAAN’, a movie written by you and one in which you were so deeply involved. Also you were quiet amazing at the India Today Conclave recently where you spoke about Comedy of Dissent.  The way you mocked the establishment, PM, opposition leaders was not only humorous but quiet gutsy as well.

However I was quiet shocked that why you deleted a particular scene (as below) from Masaan. It was a normal scene perfectly capturing the careless talks of Deepak’s friends. It portrayed that how lightly common people discuss and mock politicians.

You were offending Congress & Priyanka Gandhi perfectly capturing how the Congress supporters are mocked these days. Also you were offending Mayawati which can be a perceived as offending Dalits. A Lower caste boy being mocked that is he having Mayawati’s photo in his phone.

It was a natural scene, well directed and acted but did not find a place in the final cut. You may say that it didn’t fit in narrative but I think that you avoided this purposefully and forfeited your right to offend. Be Brave and practice what you preach.

AAP won a brute majority in last Delhi elections; however now it's in public knowledge that quality of AAP MLAs is extremely poor. Fake degree holders (Tomar) , liquor barons (Baliyan) , wife beaters (Somnath Bharti) , Land Grabbers (Manoj Kumar) are just few examples; there are more than 25 MLAs who are having different cases registered against them.

One of the gems is Tilak Nagar MLA -- Jarnail Singh who at regular intervals demonstrates his bully roadside attributes.  Today this man touched a new low -- even by his standards,

Background: 3 MLAs of BJP walked out of Delhi Assembly session protesting against recent nepotism of appointment of AAP part member to DCW.  The AAP MLA posted this on twitter in that context-

This tweet was deleted within minutes as fellow AAPTARDS asked him to delete to avoid controversy. Not 1 AAP supporter said that it was inappropriate; all of them advised MLA to avoid controversy. 

Further I would like to inform that he also wrote --- "Accha Yeh Teeno yahan hain" insinuating BJP MLAs to stray dogs.  Unfortunately that was not captured in screenshot; if any of the users has got it please share the screenshot.

Kejriwal: A Shameless Brazen Politician

It is almost 6 months when AAP won an unprecedented brute majority in Delhi.  6 months is not a long time in Indian politics where 1 electoral victory guarantees 5 year in office but this small time period has been surely enough to expose the shamelessness of the shrewd politician pretending to be a revolutionary.

Within 6 months he has demonstrated his dictatorial like attitude and converted the idea of change to a low level immoral regional party full of Yes-Men.  The most senior founder members have been insulted and thrown out , MLAs are facing lot of criminal cases (few have some extended visits in Tihar) , there is unparalleled nepotism where close associated are given all the high paying government jobs and posts.

The constant fights with every possible agency and Central Government, spending lavishly and needlessly on huge flurry of ads, calling names to his own government employees (bureaucrats and police), shamelessly lying on multiple occasions, committing blunders and when left with no option simply apologizing (as face saver with no real meaning or intent of apology) have been only achievements of this cunning politician.

However couple of days back he has stooped to a new low (even by his standards) and demonstrated his shrewdness believing the public is fool and cannot see through his deceit.  This is what he tweeted (rather re-tweeted) putting a stamp on news as he is the state CM.

There is no way anybody can link the respect to #KalamSir and removing the party publicity ads. Someone jokingly commented that maybe the huge billboards of AAP ads were blocking the missiles created by ex-president and eminent scientist. 

Of-course as always the man was lying ; he was trying to avoid the huge embarrassment as Delhi High court had already objected to the ads and made an observation that AAP government ads are prima facie in violation of SC judgment. Even the hardcore supporters of party were critical of wastage of Delhi’s taxpayer money (in some instances the money for publicity was spent in South Indian cities and newspapers) and with this hugely critical observation of High Court Kejriwal had no option but to discontinue his personal glorification campaign.

And what did this obnoxious man did next was utterly shocking and distasteful. He used the excuse of Kalam Sir’s sad demise to get away and avoid the public embarrassment.  

Mr CM : By now we know that Delhi has been fooled by a conman but please don’t take your politics to such impudent levels ; it’ simply DISGUSTING.

Harmless Fun or Outrageous ?????

In this age of open social media we are more connected than ever.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp groups etc ensure that we are in contact touch with family, friends and acquaintances.Other than sharing personalized pictures, moments of happiness and events of our life, these mediums have emerged as constant source of funny jokes, pictures and videos. The old age SMS,MMS etc are fully replaced by WhatsApp multimedia messages. We get these political/movies based/sports based - random type of messages and the intention for these circulations is to enjoy and have a small laugh in otherwise busy schedules.

I like most of us is very active on these WhatsApp groups and enjoy the political videos/jokes (often animated, often photo-shopped).   It’s a constant battle between different supporter groups (SRK vs Salman fans , BJP vs AAP etc) and the creativity of originator of these messages give a good reason to laugh to countless people.

However couple of hours back I received a Pakistani comedy show clip by a very close friend.  On the face of it; it was a dig at Indian PM by some Pakistani show but this 5 minute clip had multiple references to Indian Army defeats (65 & Kargil as claimed by them); ineffective RAW and multiple counts of India bashing. Of course this was all presented in a subtle and comical manner.

My reaction to this was quiet aggressive; I really got worked up and asked the friend not to circulate these clips in groups. However I was being made fun of and the group in people tried to pacify me that these are just the harmless jokes and we should enjoy it. Most were silent busy with other important things and decided not to react and let it pass.

I am still to get over it; just to think that this clip is a source of enjoyment and fun for Indians (people in group felt so) has totally confused me. Am I overreacting and unjustified (as stated by friends) in my protests (which almost resulted in a fight with old friends).  I have decided to put this in public domain; Friends, please have a look and help me with an objective view.

Appeal to MSM: Refrain from Fringe Elements as panelists

Twitter has now evolved into a platform where anyone can express his views and sentiments. Although there are very articulate, intelligent people voicing their thoughts over there, there is no dearth of unintelligent and mentally handicapped people. And one of those is GSURYA, the venom spreading creature who at best should be ignored.

However I was unpleasantly surprised when such a person was given a platform on NDTV. (Show: The Social Network, 5th July 2013).  Now everybody knows that NDTV is a congress friendly channel but inviting such guy on the show is really going too far.

Anyone having a look at tweets from this moron can easily tell that he is low IQ sycophant of Congress party maybe aspiring for some junior role in Congress media team.  His tweets rot and demonstrate his filthy mindset. He can stoop to any low levels and is personal at most of the times with celebrities who doesn't subscribe to Congress views.The same characteristics are also evident in lot of right wing supporters as well but they are neither officially owned nor given any importance. They are just the side-liners who may get their moment of satisfaction but are not taken seriously by anyone. I believe the similar treatment should be given to this Suryanarayan Ganesh as well.

Whatever little credibility of NDTV is left, will be destroyed if such morons are given the voice on their shows.  This pathetic member of Madam’s boot-licking brigade is similar to @AmareshMisra who openly threatens rapes and use the worst degree of abusive language on twitter. Coincidentally he was also given a platform on some NDTV show and later when they realized the blunder they simply deleted the video.

This guy has a long history of nonsensical tweets; some of the recent examples are quoted below. A simple look at these tweets is enough to judge and ascertain that NDTV or any other media house should restrain from inviting such people to their shows.

• Sycophancy is the basic trait for every congress worker/leader. If you can sacrifice all your conscience and indulge in Gandhi family worship you can be rewarded with Cabinet posts, Governorship or even with post of country President. So how can this idiotic junior aspirant be devoid of this? If anyone goes through his entire TL there would be hundreds of examples, I am just quoting 2 recent ones-

• If you ask any of our top journalists on twitter that what the biggest threat to human civilization is, they will say “Trolls”.  Their allergic behavior is somehow justified as some twitterati are really nasty with them; it’s another thing that they pass all constructive criticism and opposing views as trolling as well. By that logic, giving voice to trolls on their channels is unimaginable. But wait, if they are trolling BJP then its all fine. Is that the reason self certified troll like Gsurya is welcomed on NDTV.

• There are lots of people on both sides who stoop down to the levels of personal abuse. Everybody will agree that you have to fight the mindset and ideology not the individuals. Generally the people who indulge in this behavior are ignored and they achieve nothing except a false sense of satisfaction. But if some of these like moronic Gsurya abuse BJP people they shouldn't be ignored rather welcomed as per NDTV logic  Again there would be hundreds of examples; I am just quoting 2 recent ones-

• India is a place of multiple religions. The practices in religions are quiet diverse and sound minded true secular people take care that they in any way are not hurting any community by their utterances or actions. But this low IQ gsurya can never realize this, he in a very vulgar manner takes pride in saying that Hindus enjoys beef and Muslims enjoy pork. • Just today there are unfortunate serial blasts in Bodhgaya and this man in matter of minutes starts attributing it to BJP and RSS.  NDTV: do a rethink, should you ever invite such rumor monger to your shows. If the answer is still yes, let other unimportant extremist right wingers be given a red carpet as well.

Just to summarize the purpose of this blog is to express the disgust of lots of people when they saw this moron on mainstream news channel. Let him rant on Twitter day in and day out but don't force him on sensible news watching viewers.

Adventures of AMS and the great media cover-up

As a follower of Indian political scene, a sleazing CD of senior Congress leader & spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi was a big piece of news for me. This was 18^th April and I was told that this story is doing rounds from 4-5 days. I was bit surprised as there was not a single mention of this story on any of our sensation loving media channels. 

I decided to call couple of my close buddies with whom I usually discuss and debate the political issues. Amazingly the reply regarding knowledge of any such thing was negative. Definitely the mainstream media was playing some games here, the best way to overcome this was to turn to social media (Goggle search links, Facebook, Twitter) and as expected the whole repository of information was there, #AMS was trending on Twitter, a sure sign that there were millions who were discussing this event.

Just for the benefit of people who are not that close to this story the facts found were as follows-

1. There was a CD of AMS which allegedly was circulated to lot of media channels by his driver.
2. The CD was recorded in Supreme court chambers where AMS and one of her female colleague were involved in compromising positions ( read sex)
3. Not only this, chat between the two suggested that AMS was assuring the lady lawyer that he will help her in becoming the judge using his power.
4. Now this was a great media masala story , the media which ran Karnataka porngate story for days and Gujarat MLAs watching sex site for number of days suddenly decided to take the moral high ground and decided against running (even mentioning) this story as this was individual’s personal matter. Isn’t it height of double standards?
5. The excuse media took was the injunction obtained by AMS from high court that this video cannot be telecasted. Agreed there was an injunction but that was for telecasting the videos not against reporting this matter.
6. However in this twitter-yug no information can be suppressed. The entire efforts of AMS went in vain as all videos were uploaded on various social networking sites by 20^th of April. There was even a cat mouse game where as soon as such video was uploaded it was deleted from youtube, but currently everything is easily available across net. Just use the right search words in youtube and everything is there for public consumption
7. Meanwhile AMS has won the case against his driver, his driver has admitted that CD was fabricated and permanent injunction has been provided by the court.

Imagine in our country where cases linger for years and years, AMS managed to win and close this case in a week. If you a senior SC lawyer and such a strong person of ruling party of country anything can happen. Driver can admit crimes, courts can provide relief, media can blackout stories, opposition can stay quiet but what about the common aam junta. You can buy everything with your power but how will you buy millions of common man voices. 

Sir AMS , when even the most brutal dictators of world were not able to stop Arab uprising ( it was the social media which united the people) , how can you imagine that  that in free democratic country like India you will be able to stop public from watching your adventures by obtaining some court order.

And now about the role of our great media, which is often termed as arm of state ( in common words it’s a paid media which favours the Congress party). Suddenly the entire media has united against showing this story as this can hamper and dampen the image of their employers.

And when I asked 1 of the great editor about their saintly stand I was given the privacy and voyeurism lecture.

I would like to ask that where were all these standards when Swami Nityanand clips were telecasted without any proof, when the unclear pictures of Gujarat MLAs were shown for days until it was proved that it was all lies, when the Karnataka porn gate was the only news for days. If it’s not related to ruling Congress party everything is fine but everything related to them (whether this incident or illness of Sonia Gandhi) is respected as reporting it is a invasion of privacy.

Anyways the great deeds of media are already been exposed by famous net-blogger Ravinar who beautifully captures and highlights all the lies of our great media crooks.His blog is highly recommended for anyone who is fed up of lies and misdeeds of our paid media.
